The sublime text editor is the most famous and definitely one of our favorites! It offers a free version for testing or you can register for paid license too. The paid version requires paying $80 to keep it active. Wait! $80 for a text editor, sounds steep for a text editor. But note that it's a license per user, so you can use a sublime text editor on as many devices and operating systems as you wish.

2. Atom
The Atom text editor is also open-source software. One more time I want to say that this is also a famous text editor as the sublime text editor. With help of an atom text editor, you can access an open-source text editor with a developer in mind. In fact according to the creators of atom they made it just for developers. An experienced developer should have no problem working with Atom.
You can share your projects and edit in real-time, helping out teams that are far away from each other or teams that want a more dedicated workplace. Atom has a GitHub package already included with a text editor. So this way developers can create everything with their team.
